What is the chemical equation of waste (solid white) burnig of sulfur in the air or pure oxygen, in your case?
When sulfur is said to be to produce a white solid. I do not really know what it is waste. can you please help me to identify what is and what his reaction chemistry.
I've never heard of a white solid that is produced by burning sulfur: S + O2 → SO2 However, many so-called sulfur burners SO2 production downstream use do not use elemental sulfur, but often Minerals sulfur or sulfur impurities. This could lead to a residue of a white substance, but the composition of this residue is unknown to me. But not from the combustion of sulfur
